say hello to autumn

i'm so sorry for the severe lack of updates lately, school responsibilites (and trying to enjoy the last week of freedom) were calling! but i do promise to be a better blogger in the future!

I'm about to start spanish sixth form on tuesday, which is kind of famous for being ridiculously hard, so i'm quite nervous as the day looms closer and closer. it also doesn't help too much that you have to pass eleven subjects to get the title after two years! but i am going to attempt to do it anyway. wish me luck!

let's do something real

have you ever heard a song by a band you don't know of and just known that they were destined for big things? those were my thoughts exactly upon hearing this song by manchester electro band delphic. they have already had some success on the club scene, and are now starting to get the recognition that they deserve on a more mainstream level.
i don't have a crystal ball but i am sure that we will be seeing alot more of them in the future.

you came to my show, and i saw you in the crowd

i have such a strong desire to go to a show, somewhere tiny and intimate, to just stand there and feel myself getting sucked into an atmosphere that doesn't quite seem like the real world.
for me, nothing can quite compare to that feeling, when you are squashed amongst dozens of strangers, but you don't care, when you are aware that you are in the palm of the hand of the person that stands before you on the stage, but you love it.
when you are filled with adrenaline and excitement, and the euphoria seems to overpower any other emotion you may have.
what can possibly be better than that?
