i don't really want to have to answer to anybody

after having had a dull saturday i was glad to see my weekly copy of nme magazine arrive at my house; and thrilled to see one of my favourite people - alison mosshart (who else?) and her new band the dead weather on the cover of my favourite magazine: clash.

now i can't wait to arrive home from work tomorrow and get inspired.

if you love music but haven't bought clash before then i highly recommend it!

i was so enthralled by these pictures by the ever-inspiring carl wooley, that i just had to show them to you.
they capture loneliness and emptiness so perfectly and i think that they are beautiful.
there is something so haunting about all of his work that always astonishes me.

i bought this friendly fires one at benicassim festival last week, and now i am lusting over this klaxons one, which i am definitely ordering when i eventually have money to spare.
